What got you started with the Sisters?
I first saw a Sister around 2011 when I was 16 years old at The Center Orlando which was the local LGBT community center. There was an art show happening and I rode my bike 20 miles to attend my first queer event. When I saw the Orlando Sisters, I thought they were magnificent. They were all so sweet and kind to me. I took to them quickly and although I couldn't be a member until I was 21, they allowed me to join them on public manifestations at the local farmers' market. I watched as they manifested and came out into the community not to push an agenda or to preach but simply to pass out flowers to people and wish them well on their day. I watched as they blessed events at night clubs, a contest I was privileged to bare witness to, and a Sister's veiling ceremony to a Fully Professed Sister. I saw how much it meant to them and the people around them and I knew one day I wanted to be part of this joyous group of people and bring good into this world. I joined the military in 2016 and was shipped off overseas. My goal of being a Sister was placed on the back burner until I transferred back stateside and landed in Norfolk, Virginia where eventually the Seven City Sisters were formed and I was lucky enough to a part of its birth.
How did you choose your name?
I was racking around names with some friends of mine and we threw around several options; Sister WestMister Abby, Sister Magdalia Dominicana. Then, finally I said, "Sister Glory Holes" and my friend came back with "Sister Gloria Holes" and I knew from the moment I read it that it was perfect for me.
Who are your Co-Moms?
Ken Tagious and Kim Boocha
What do you want to accomplish as a Sister?
I know I'm not a real nun but I take my mission as a Sister with similar passion of a real nun and I devote my Sister servitude to Sexual Education in all its forms. Sexual Expression and Freedom, Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections and Education on Long Term Sexual Conditions. I want my community to be a place free of Prejudice, Judgment, and Stigma.
Religious Beliefs:
Once an evangelical, once an atheist, once a satanist, currently spiritual in a non-evangelical way. Religion is personal to each individual and so long as you're not attempting to use your religion to infringe upon the rights of others you're fine by me.
What do you hope your look evolves into?
I don't know, maybe something like Margot Robbies Barbie Movie meets gay man role playing as a nun for activism.
Random Bit About Me:
I'm a nomad. I live my life in a converted school bus and take lots of vacations to LGBT Campgrounds across the USA.
My favorite quote:
Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny
